Chock-Full of Schmaltz and Schtick!
Chock-Full of Schmaltz and Schtick!
Amy Steinhaus Kirwin and Rebecca Edana are two meshugganah gals making food, sharing recipes, having fun, and feeding the world with humor and delicious noshes. And we have a show!
Yes, we make food. But we also just yenta it up and have good time. Each episode, filmed at LTV Studios in East Hampton, focuses on one or two menu items, usually, but not always, of Jewish origin, plus a special cocktail. We also tap into our parents, grandparents, and others for our popular segment, "The Yiddish Lesson of the Day".
Find all episodes, even the early ones from Rebecca's kitchen, on our YouTube Channel.
If you have cable and live in East Hampton or Southampton (New York), you can watch our show on Channel 20 every Tuesday at 12 PM, Friday at 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM, and Saturday at 11 AM EST, or find all episodes linking to YouTube on LTV's website
SEASON THREE AIRING NOW!
TJMF also airs on BronxNet Inform - cable access for The Bronx on Optimum, channels 67-70 or Fios 2134-2138, every other Sunday at 7:30 PM. Or just watch HERE.

You might notice the near-life-size Jason Momoa behind us in our episodes. Why, you ask? For one, why not. It's Jason Momoa! But it began in Rebecca's kitchen with our first episode on Facebook Live when we used Amy's cell phone to film. We needed to create a focal point to ensure we looked in the right spot, and since Amy has a healthy fondness for Momoa, we used a small photo of him taped to the phone by the camera. When we moved to LTV, we brought another photo of Jason and taped it to the fridge because we felt we needed his presence as our hype-man. Not long after that, the Director of LTV surprised us with the cutout! So now we always have Jason Momoa looking over us during each episode for moral support. You're welcome.
